Holger, please provide a ChangeLog entry for the changes as well.  `C-x
4 a' is your friend.  (You will have to adjust the date to the date of
the check-in.)  I don't think the entry has to include all new variables
and functions.  Simply mentioning that the file now got an actual
implementation of some functionality should be enough.
