[1] is the old auctex list which was obsoleted by the lists in the
auctex group, so it's dead for a reason.

[2] is dead because me and the savannah admins have forgotten about it
in my last request.  I've added a new request, and hopefully full diffs
will be sent again to the list anytime soon.
