Hi
I know this is a bit off topic, since bibtex.el is not part of auctex.
However I would like to hear your opinion. As I said earlier I am
switching form Xemacs to GNU emacs.
So far I have not seen any dramatic difference with bibtex.el till now.
Xemacs still uses an almost attic version from 1997, while GNU emacs has
a more modern one.
However the old Xemacs bibtex.el had a function called
bibtex-hide-entry-bodies
which works fine even for large buffers.
Now GNU emacs bibtex has removed this functionality and refers to
hs-minor-mode.
So I tried out that mode and for large buffers it is clearly inferior,
since some entries are not hidden. I could attach some screenshots but
prefer not for the moment.
Any comments or experience with the hiding functionality?
Thanks
Uwe Brauer
