undertook it!

The only effort to provide at least font-locking for TikZ I know is
http://tex.stackexchange.com/a/30252/31416  Never tried it, but the
screenshot looks really interesting.  Unfortunately it wasn't further
developed and never proposed for inclusion into AUCTeX.
