AUCTeX and `use-package'

Hi all,

are there any `use-package' users around?  I think with an up to date
AUCTeX, it should be possible to do:

  (use-package auctex
   ...)

instead of the proposed

  (use-package tex
    :ensure auctex)

Can people please try this and report if it works?  I would then update
our manual.  I tested it briefly with 'emacs -Q' and my non-standard
setup and it works.
