Uh, AUCTeX is a major mode for Emacs for managing LaTeX files, and
this list is the general discussion list for it.  The answer to A,
using AUCTeX, would be

C-c C-e itemize RET

And then you do M-RET for any additional item.

And the answer to B would be

C-c RET framebox RET

and answer the questions.
