[AUCTeX] Syntax highlighting within verbatim environments

Hello,

I was wondering if there is some way to enable syntax highlighting inside verbatim environments (eg. minted).

What I am looking for is similar to what is offered by org-mode (https://orgmode.org/org.html#Editing-source-code). In particular the functionality activated by the `org-src-fontify-natively`variable.

Is something like that available or possible within auctex?
