| I would like to suggest that a web
| page be written especially for people like Ilya,
|
| Do you mean that we would ask each contributor to read the page
| and decide which papers to use? That would be too unreliable.
| Probably 20% of them would get it wrong.
Really? Is 20% higher than the maintainers' rate? :)
| That is why we ask the maintainers to decide what papers to use, and
| tell the contributor. The maintainers can learn to do this properly,
| and after that, do it reliably.
|
| since I don't have
| more time to spend on this issue than Jessica.
|
| If you have time to consider his changes and decide whether to install
| them, you have time to decide what papers are needed, because that is
| a much easier job.
I guess so. But I'm already stacking too many easy jobs.
| It is not necessary for every maintainer to deal with papers, but we
| need some maintainers to do it. Who is willing to do it?
The silence was an answer :( We will continue as before: when one of
us will have a slot for an easy job. But we will do it even better
than before.
