    configure: exit explicitly if the path to perl contains spaces.
    
    This change ameloriates https://bugs.gnu.org/62896.
    
    * configure.ac: exit explicitly if the result of AC_PATH_PROG for
    perl contains spaces, since shebang lines cannot support such paths.
