Yes, of course! Here are some bugs that may be worth addressing
(before or after 1.6.2, I don't really mind):
- It seems that Automake doesn't clear stamp files created in
sub-directories.
ERROR: files left after distclean:
./src/config/stamp-h1
(The closest Makefile is at src/Makefile.am.)
- Debian Bug#144221: dejagnu.am build site.exp and site.bak, and never
erase these files. Hence `make distcheck' always fails.
- `Nelson H. F. Beebe' have reported a couple of failures like
this on Solaris:
http://sources.redhat.com/ml/bug-automake/2002/msg00486.html
Sometimes it PASSes, sometimes it FAILs. I guess it is a
timestamp issue, but I don't undersand it. The same issue was
reported before in
http://sources.redhat.com/ml/bug-automake/2002/msg00157.html
- http://sources.redhat.com/ml/bug-automake/2002/msg00484.html
I don't know what a so_location file is. Is it something that
Automake should clean, or is it the job of Libtool?
