That is great! Recently I've been wondering if it was really
used (part of it are broken since 1.7, see for instance
txinfo5.test, and until the introduction of -Woverride we never
realized that because there were no test cases and no users

Welcome back! That looks great to me, but as a new feature it lacks
a NEWS entry and a test case.
