It is not your place to ask for this. This list has an established way of
working which has been explained in this thread. This is not Yahoo! nor
AVRFreaks. The people who answer questions here are highly knowledgeable
about GCC for the AVR and it is inappropriate to ask them to type one more
key than necessary to deal with questions about general embedded C
programming. They are not being "cranky" or "pissy", they are clearing the
air for a question relevant to the list. If you don't like this, fine, but
your options are to go elsewhere, not to ask for the list to be run
differently.
