I don't think it is would be possiple to emulate one file filesystem on 
an other.
Unix will allow to filenames that only differs in case, and that usely 
gives a lot of trouble i windows.
I use windows, and it will be a lot of confusion if the unix behavour 
was emulated upon the windows file system.

One way around this will be to have 'make' and other tools to issue a 
warning when a filename is used that would be incompatible with other 
file systems.
