Okay, okay. I'll try to dig deeper in the manual. http://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/gcc/Optimize-Options.html isn't working for me, but maybe its somewhere else. I always have the option of just looking at the source too. Anyway. Thanks for your help. Sorry for a question that resulted in a RTFM :-)
What are you trying to do? Any autoconf package can be set for -02 with: ./configure CFLAGS="-g -O2"
