Hi,
I've made fresh installation of latest versions of Atmel AVR
Studio and winavr and I get weird error :
C:\WinAVR-20070525\utils\bin\sh.exe: *** Couldn't reserve space
for cygwin's heap, Win32 error 487
I have no other cygwin installation on computer. How to solve
this ? I haven't found any solution to this.
Hi,
I'm not sure, but it sounds similar to the problem described here:
http://www.nabble.com/Couldn%27t-reserve-space-for-cygwin%27s-heap%
2C-Win32-error-6-tf1366914.html
There is a solution (http://www.nabble.com/Re%3A-Couldn%27t-reserve-
space-for-cygwin%27s-heap%2CWin32-error-6--SOLVED--tf1543165.html)
which works for some users, who had problems with gcc (not avr-gcc/
winavr) under Windows XP SP2.
I just remembered these postings when I read your problem with
winavr, perhaps it helps to solve the issue.
