[avr-libc-dev] Last bits for 1.0.4

Hi,

Well, so much for an early week release...

I wanted to get patch #2155 (strtol/strtoul optimizing) into 1.0.4, but
that doesn't look likely since I since want to test the patch more
thuroughly.

The last change I'm considering for 1.0.4 is bug #8633 (waiting for
comments).

I'll make the release tomorrow regardless of wether #8633 goes in or
not. I don't want to wait much longer.

Maybe we can make a quick turn-around for 1.0.5 with fixes for bugs
#8633, #8643 and patches #2155 and #2923.

Joerg, were you going to look into bug #2924 again?
