Yep, it's too new. The avr-libc 1.0 branch still requires either
doxygen 1.2.x, or the patch you've been using. In fact, I'm building
the official FreeBSD version of it using the same patch. ;-)
(The CVS version of avr-libc is up to date with the current doxygen.)
