Unfortunately, you ended up at a mailing list that is way beyond your
inquiry.
This mailing list is for discussion between developers of avr-libc,
which is the (C standard & support) library accompanying AVR-GCC.
Besides a search through the Internet (there are really /many/
tutorials for C applications on the AVR), you could use the "AVR
forum" at
http://www.avrfreaks.net/
As I'm not a CodeVision user I can't tell, but perhaps there are also
mailing lists or fora specifically dealing with the CodeVision
compiler.
