Tim,
It is great to see all the progress that you have been making!
I checked the lastest version out of tenkan at about 10:00 PM
last night and followed the instructions in you email. After
about 45 minutes of chugging along on my 1.6 GHz machine under
RedHat 8.0, I got the following error message:
614 copying /home/axiom/new/new/src/algebra/INTERP.EXPOSED to
/home/new/new/mnt/linux/algebra
make[3]: *** No rule to make target
'/home/axiom/new/new/src/algebra/exposed.lsp' needed by
'/home/axiom/new/new/mnt/linux/algebra/exposed.o'. Stop.
make[3]: Leaving directory '/home/axiom/new/new/src/interp'
make[2]: *** [interpdir] Error 2
...
etc.
Can you see what might be wrong? It appears that the appropriate
clause may be in /home/axiom/new/new/src/interp/Makefile.pamphlet
but not in the Makefile itself?
I am using the following versions of gcc and make (straight out
of the RedHat 8.0 distribution):
# gcc -v
gcc version 3.2 20020903 (Red Hat Linux 8.0.3.2-7)
# make -v
GNU Make version 3.79.1, by Richard Stallman and Roland McGrath.
Regards,
Bill Page
