Oh. I misunderstood.
First, the difference between prebuilt and CVS is the algebra subdirectory.
Second, the algebra code works (mostly) in prebuilt.
Third, )co xpoly fails in all versions. That is the bug we're all looking
to kill.
I thought you were trying to run the Set of MonoidRing example.
That should work in the prebuilt version. If you want to change the
interpreter you can make the mods to the sources, rebuild the sources,
and then copy the newly-built interpsys into the prebuilt version.
In general I have an interpsys in the prebuilt version that is just
a symbolic link to one of a series of interpsys images.
