I tried downloading and compiling Axiom for my Mac (OS X 10.3.8). uname
-s gives "Darwin", and the
configure script balks. It says to send you-all a note. Herewith.
For fun, I tried lying to it that I was running Linux. I have a bunch
of "Fink" software, which gives a fair bit
of Linux compatibility, so this sometimes works out. Not this time: in
particular
/Users/snelgar/downloads/axiom/int/lib/fnct_key.c: In function
`handle_function_key':
/Users/snelgar/downloads/axiom/int/lib/fnct_key.c:342: error: `SIGCLD'
undeclared (first use in this function)
/Users/snelgar/downloads/axiom/int/lib/fnct_key.c:342: error: (Each
undeclared identifier is reported only once
/Users/snelgar/downloads/axiom/int/lib/fnct_key.c:342: error: for each
function it appears in.)
make[3]: *** [/Users/snelgar/downloads/axiom/obj/linux/lib/fnct_key.o]
Error 1
Any hope?
