[be] remote repository difficulties

Greetings,

I just finished translation work on one computer for the day and as 
usual sent the data my flash drive remote repository. Everything went 
fine on that machine, however, when I tried to sync it to another 
machine I received this message:

fatal: '/media/repo/repository' does not appear to be a git repository
fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly

What must I do to get it working again?
