Hi David,
The format of the notes betweeen bibledit-gtk and bibledit-web is
totally different. The web version's note have more and different
attributes, related to assigning the notes to sombody, and other similar
options these notes have. There is a one-way road to import the notes
from bibledit-gtk to bibledit-web, but then there's no way back.
In our teams we use both systems, as both have their advantages.
I'll put the issues about smarty and smarty-gettext on the todo list,
yes, the installation document lags behind, and obviously the configure
script too, and I had overlooked the latter one. Thanks for the pointer.
