I'm running Mac OS X 10.0.3
localhost% uname -a
Darwin localhost 1.3.3 Darwin Kernel Version 1.3.3: Fri May 4
13:46:54 PDT 2001; root:xnu/xnu-124.8.obj~1/RELEASE_PPC Power
Macintosh powerpc
./configure gave me this error:
checking host system type... configure: error: cannot guess host
type; you must specify one
So, I did a "cp /usr/libexec/config* ." which fixed this problem
when I was trying to install rtf2latex2e. (copies these files:
/usr/libexec/config.guess, /usr/libexec/config.sub)
Shouldn't that have worked?
But I still get the same error. And, honestly, I don't know how to
specify a host type to ./configure.
