Hi,
when printing the file "ascii.txt" below with --encoding=iso1,
the 0xE4 character is printed as รค.
when printing the same file with --encoding=iso7, it is not
printed as \delta, as it should, but as ``M-d''.
I spend the afternoon with groveling through the encoding file
and the code reading it and ended up confused - I didn't find
the part where it decides that there is no entry for that character
index.
That is, I didn't find how the data structure that's actually
tested to find the encoding is filled - the encoding file itself
is read (and written to the postscript file) fine.
Is this a bug somewhere, maybe in the encoding file iso7.edf?
I noticed I can use all other isoN encodings I tried and get nonescaped
output...
Regards,
-is
