landscape input

Hi,

my input is in landscape.  I´m using the -6 option and thus 6 pages appear
on each page fine but numbered from right to left:

 4 1
 5 2
 6 3

which is ok if reading landsacaping the sheet and the input is in portrait
mode. But in this case, one wants to read the sheet as portrait since each
page is in landscape, but the numbering results really extrange.  How can
a output the pages as

 1 4
 2 5
 3 6

or

 1 2
 3 4
 5 6  ???
