del.psnup problem in a2ps 4.15

Friends,

For me, changing

Variable: del.psnup \
   #?o!cat!psnup -#v #?V||-q| #?j|-d|| #?r||-c| -w#w -h#h!

from 4.14 and before to

Variable: del.psnup \
   #?o!cat!psnup -#v #?V||-q| #?j|-d|| #?r||-c| -p#p!

breaks n-up priting of pdf files, giving

$ touch foo.pdf
$ a2ps -2 foo.pdf 
psnup: paper size '2' not recognised
[foo.pdf (pdf, delegated to pdf2ps): failed.  Ignored]
[No output produced]

Changing back to del.psnup from 4.14 in my ~/.a2ps/a2psrc makes things
work again.

Afaict del.psselect already does the page range selection?
