As one case, I'd like anubis to re-use the same credentials it accepted in the connection to the MTA. This will suffice to keep such data away from the rcfile.
I'd also like to consider the possibility of having Anubis lookup the MTA user/pass from the database, to get a different set of data. The idea being that you could have authid/passwd for Anubis, and MTAauthid/MTApasswd for the onward connection.
This second scenario will not likely to be very common - I doubt that I would use it myself, even.
