Elias, have you given any further thought to adding configurable APL options to gnu-apl-mode?
I wouldn't necessarily want the ability to add any random option (due to the risk of conflict with options used by the mode), but a selection of "safe" options would be nice to have available.
I still have the patch to add --LX support, if you'd like me to post that again.
