Hi Peter, good, take your time. I am not very familiar with Macs but I suppose you can add an external USB keyboard? In that case I would leave the ⍙ on AltShift-. because the default keyboard shown by the ]KEYBOARD command has is there and on AltShift-H. /// Jürgen On 08/18/2014 09:47 PM, Peter Teeson wrote: Hi Jürgen: Thanks very much. In the MacAplAlt.keyboard I placed a Comment making it GPL'd (same as the install guide). That way it's not proprietary. IMPO I believe we should place ⍙ at Shift+Alt+h (since Alt+h is where ∆ js placed) and that's what I've done for MacAplAlt. Also unless there is a strong objection, for MacAplAlt I will remove the Dyalog Shift+Alt+. I will submit the keylayout and revised pdf later this week after waiting to allow comments in the next day or two. respect… Peter On 2014-08-18, at 12:32 PM, Juergen Sauermann <address@hidden> wrote:Hi Peter, I will be happy to create a Mac folder and include your files there. The reason for ⍙ sitting on two keys is that I was so used to ⍙ on Shift-∆ that I left it there (see also the folder called "old-Keyboard" which was my initial keyboard layout (and how I believed it makes the most sense). Then I purchased a Dyalog keyboard and found a number of characters in different places. Since my layout was kind of proprietary, I then changed to the Dyalog keyboard but left the ⍙ where it was (and my fingers still find it there). /// Jürgen |
