      thanks, fixed in SVN 1305.
      
      Unfortunately to fix this I had to revert another fix that I made
      in June 2016.
      I could not figure why I did that faulty change in 2016 and as far
      as I can see,
      bug-apl shows no related posting either. I hope no older problem
      will
      reappear.
