Is this documented somewhere? I'm not seeing anything about it in
the man page or texinfo manual.
If the argument contains pattern matching characters, it's treated as a
pattern and help prints the description of each help topic matching that
pattern.
If not, and it matches the name of a help topic exactly, help prints the
description associated with that topic. Otherwise, help performs prefix
matching and prints the descriptions of all matching help topics.
