the applied patch looks functional but it might be incomplete for the below files: the old work around with "--no-show-raw-insn" is supposed to be superfluos as well right now. i have not done a grep for that keyword, but just wondered why some files got patched and other got not. /src/ld/testsuite/ld-h8300/relax-5-coff.d # objdump: -d --no-show-raw-insn
Just a snafu on my part. The tests work, ie the relax-5-coff.d and relax-5.d files both expect to see objdump output without any raw instruction bytes at all.
I am not sure whether it is worth re-adjusting these two files. Removing the "--no-show-raw-insn" would make them consistent with the other tests in the ld-h8300/ directory, but on the other hand leaving them as they are makes sure that the --no-show-raw-insn switch works.
