No, this is a good place to report such bugs.  You can also try the 
other binutils mailing list which is: address@hidden if you 
do not get much response from this list.

We are now at version 2.15 of binutils, so it would really help if you 
could try out that release, or, even better, the currents sources in the 
 binutils CVS repository.

If the bug is still present in the latest binutils sources then the 
other thing that would really help is a small test case that reproduces 
the problem.  For example a few .o files and a linker command line ?
