I can confirm that building mariadb with binutils-2.26, with your patch and
without
422f11824b3abf6c71042e2ee3aed572f250fc89422f11824b3abf6c71042e2ee3aed572f250fc89
reversed produce a libmysqlclient.so that does not show double default
mysql_real_connect and is usable by akonadiserver.
