Good day H.J. Lu,
Is there a wiki or FAQ you could point me towards for building and deploying a
test/local build of `binutils' and `ld'? I'm familiar with building and
deploying customer kernels, packages, etc, and how to use tools like
`checkinstall' or `src2pkg' to create a system package (ie: tgz, deb, rpm) so
that I can uninstall the package afterwards without hunting down all the
components.
However, since this would overwrite several files in `/bin' I'd like to know if
there is a de facto "standard/recommended" manner in which to try this out.
Thank you for your time and assistance.
