Thank you, I looked at the patch and it avoids the bug.
However, in the code with your corrections, there is still this comment:
                  /* Convert "mov address@hidden(%reg1), %reg2" to
                     "lea address@hidden(%reg1), %reg2".  */
which I think is not true anymore.


And I am very surprised that ld changes some instructions.
Is it documented somewhere else than in the source code?
