Thank you reporting this problem.

2.26 is an old release of the binutils. If you try the latest release (2.32)
you will find that the bug is already fixed.

The cp-demangle.c source file is part of the libiberty library, which is not
maintained by the binutils project. (It is used by us, but not maintained
by us). Hence if you find other bugs in the future that are contained in the
libiberty source code, please could you report them to the gcc project, rather
than here: https://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/enter_bug.cgi
