I am fairly involved in several projects and has been travelling extensivily a 
month ago, and had email problems a week ago, so I might have missed your 
message earlier.  I do not recall the details of your specific email offhand 
but a number of patches were taken in for 1.5.1 related to win32 compilability 
as well as overall compatibility.  One of the things I have been looking for 
is a full time win32 sub-maintainer.  I also wish to merge the win32 and posix 
source code base fully under one source tree with #ifdefs like has already 
been done for the socket code.
