wish of adding

Hi there,

I know it's not the correct adress to send any request but the man ls
don't give any other one.

I use linux for 2 years aready, one under debian (debian-eeepc lenny
2.6.26 Gnome/Xfce)

By using ls command, i found this option : ls --group-directories-first
this one is very usefull for me (much clearer). But i never remember the
text to enter so i have to check the man ls each time. I don't find any
short name for the option as others.

My request i, is it possible to add a short name for this option ?
