rm(1) has a synopsis in which "FILE…" is a mandatory argument; the info page (correctly) has it optional. (Alternatively, you could add a separate synopsis line for -f, which seems to be the only flag that makes the FILE argument optional.) -- http://rrt.sc3d.org
