Not entirely sure what that assertion means( other than it looks
like ,v file might be corrupted, and I could be entirely wrong ).
There are no hard limits to the number of tags that a file can
contain( We have files here with 3k+ tags and branches ).
There are performance limitations though. The more tags and
branches that you have implies that your ,v files are getting
very large. This means it will take longer to read the ,v files
and have it do work.
As to when it becomes unuseable that's been a matter of debate
recently ;)
