My apache error log was bloated to 2GB today by cvsweb hitting this bug.
Basic info:
root@chain> cvs --version
Concurrent Versions System (CVS) 1.11.2 (client/server)
Debian, unstable tree, using the Debian cvs package.
Here's how you reproduce:
> cvs pserver
<enter anything>
^c
<return>
At this point, you will be spammed with an infinite amount of lines like
this:
cvs: buffer.c:1370: stdio_buffer_shutdown: Assertion `fstat ( fileno (bc->fp),
&s ) != -1' failed.
kill -9 must be used to stop it.
