hey all,
I was wondering if there was a way of overriding
conflicting files automatically (via co or update),
instead of having to 'move them out of the way'.
The application in mind is for the gtk+ repositories -
those repositories don't put 'configure, aclocal.m4,
etc' inside of CVS, so you need to either download a
tarred up release or regen them on your own.
My plan was to therefore take a tarred release and
expand it, use it as a template and then update the
remaining files to current with either a cvs co or
cvs update. Doesn't work because of all of the
conflicts that it generates...
Thanks much for any help..
Ed
