Damn.  I meant to say, people are perplexed as to why you don't
use the head.

I'm not perplexed, others are.  They think it is strange not using
the head, but I wouldn't even use the head for CVS development,
assuming a non-permanent internet connection and/or non-update
permission to the repository.
