broken pipes are usually loginfo scripts and the like that die
horribly, in this case it is a hacked "xml-loginfo" server.
anyhow its a known issue and is fixed in the most recent version of
SourceCast, which cvshome.org will hopefully be upgrading to within
the month. so far things look good.
