Are the CVS developers amenable to accepting patches against cvs.texinfo to
add sections for the add, remove, and tag commands? I realize these
sections
might be simplistic, but in particular, the add/remove sections would be a
good place to record the fact that a cvs add is the appropriate way to undo
a cvs remove when the removed file has not yet been committed.
I have only infrequently messed with man page sources and that was years
ago. I don't know anything about texinfo, so it would be a stretch, but
I could attempt to tackle this by simply following the example of other
sections that are similar. I don't want to attempt this if there would
be a strong chance such a patch would be rejected outright, though
naturally I would expect it to be subject to review.
If I were to do this, is it normal to simply edit the texinfo file with a
plain-text editor, or is that the masochistic way to do it?
