Crash on HP-UX 11.00

I compiled DDD 3.3.8 on HP-UX 11.00.  When I start it, it crashes
before starting any window.  The output is included below, and so is
the log file generated in ~/.ddd/log.  Most of the configuration are
covered in the log file I believe.  I could add that my configuration
line was

    configure  --with-athena-includes=/usr/contrib/X11R6/include 
--with-athena-libraries=/usr/contrib/X11R6/lib

/usr/contrib/X11R6 are where HP places Xaw and Xmu.

This is completely repeatable, it happens every invocation.  Please
tell me if there is anything I could do to get more information for
you.
