Hi,
not sure what the proper format for reporting bugs is, the manual where
it says to look at the end of for examples, is 404'd.
A user reported that he was unable to get ddd to compile using the gcc
flags of "-O2 -pipe -mcpu=7400 -maltivec -mabi=altivec" which are
Gentoo's stock compile flags for g4 cpus.
It does compile and execute successfully using g3 compile options, so
it's not a total failure to compile, just failing when using altivec
instruction optimizations
So not sure what else you folks need from us if anything, but I
basically told the user to not compile it for the g4 optimizations and
we'd drop you guys a line reporting the issue.
Anything specific you need from me regarding the bug? If so please let
me know.
Thanks,
Kevyn
