Sweet as apple pie. Raking it in. You feel like a fish out of water. Sweet
as apple pie. Stuck in a rut. Sweet as honey. A snail's pace. Which came
first, the chicken or the egg. Still water runs dirty and deep. Your name is
mud. Two peas in a pod. They're like two peas in a pod. Watch and wait.
Where man is not nature is barren. You reap what you sow. Putting it in a
nutshell. When you get lemons, make lemonade.(When life gives you scraps make
quilts.) Water under the bridge. Shit happens. Raking in the dough. The silly
season.
You can't squeeze blood out of a turnip. We'll hand you out to dry. Walking on
thin ice. Run to seed. Play a harp before a cow. A rose by any other name
would smell as sweet. Spaceship earth. Where man is not nature is barren.
Useless as tits on bull. Shall I compare thee to a summer's day. A stick in
the mud. Stir up an ant's nest. You say potayto, I say potahto. Up a tree.
Water it down. A snail's pace. Top of the morning. Weed out. Slow as a
snail. Slow as molasses in January. Putting the cart before the horse. Spring
forward fall back. Worry often gives a small thing a big shadow. Sow much, reap
much; sow little, reap little. Pull it up by the roots.
